Community Safety & Conduct Policy
Purpose
Eventurous Singles is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and safe environment for all members. This policy outlines how serious safety concerns, allegations, and conflicts between members are handled. The goal is to protect participants, maintain fairness, and reduce harm while recognizing that Eventurous Singles is not a law enforcement or judicial authority.
Scope
This policy applies to:

All members, guests, and participants

Events hosted, promoted, or organized by Eventurous Singles
-
Member interactions connected to the community, whether they occur during or outside of events
Serious Safety Concerns & Allegations
A serious safety concern includes, but is not limited to:

Allegations of sexual assault or sexual misconduct

Harassment, stalking, or threats
-
Physical violence or credible threats of harm
Eventurous Singles does not investigate crimes or determine guilt. Allegations of criminal behavior are encouraged to be reported to law enforcement.
Neutrality & Non-Adjudication
When a serious safety concern is raised, Eventurous Singles may implement temporary measures to protect all involved parties, which may include:

Requiring separation between involved individuals at events

Temporarily restricting attendance at certain events

Adjusting group participation logistics
These measures are preventative, non-punitive, and do not imply wrongdoing.
Personal Protection Orders (PPOs) and Legal Orders
If a member has an active Personal Protection Order (PPO), restraining order, or similar legal order involving another member:

Eventurous Singles must be notified immediately.

The organization will comply with the order as required by law.

Members subject to an order may be restricted or removed from events to ensure compliance and safety.

Failure to disclose an active PPO that impacts group participation may result in removal from the community.
Eventurous Singles cannot modify, mediate, or override court-issued orders.
Confidentiality & Non-Harassment

Members are expected to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive matters.

Public accusations, pressure campaigns, harassment, or attempts to force the organization to take sides are not permitted.

Retaliation, intimidation, or repeated messaging after boundaries are set may result in removal from the group.
Public Statements & Disclosures
Eventurous Singles does not comment publicly on private disputes or allegations between members. If a statement is necessary, it will be limited to:

Confirming that a concern was raised

Stating that appropriate safety measures are in place

Reaffirming neutrality and respect for legal processes
Removal from the Community
A member may be removed if they:

Violate this policy

Refuse to comply with safety measures

Engage in harassment, threats, or defamation

Create ongoing risk or disruption to the community
Removal decisions are final.
Acknowledgment
By joining or participating in Eventurous Singles, members agree to abide by this policy, the Privacy Policy, and all Rules and Guidelines.
Eventurous Singles reserves the right to update this policy as needed to ensure safety, fairness, and legal compliance.
